Eramet, France

Eramet is a global metallurgical and mining company involved from the exploitation of world-class deposits to the manufacture of high-end products, and from impact studies to recycling activities.

Eramet mining operations comprises Ni, Mn and heavy minerals mines and mine projects located in New-Caledonia, Gabon, Senegal, Indonesia and Argentina. Mineral processing operations are mainly directly conducted in these countries while pyrometallurgy operations are performed in numerous plants located in Europe (France, Norway), Gabon, New-Caledonia, China and the USA. Eramet is also a world leader in high-performance alloys, notably nickel and titanium alloys. The whole group includes 40 production sites, mostly located in Europe (France, Sweden, Norway, and Spain).

Eramet is focused on innovation, particularly digital, to transform our know-how, our processes and how we approach our activities. Eramet Ideas, the Innovation Centre of the Group, is at the forefront of this strategy. This Innovation Centre, involved in FineFuture project, has recognised expertise in developing mineral processing, pyrometallurgy, hydrometallurgy, refining and recycling processes. This centre has a unique capability in Europe to develop such a large panel of processes at the laboratory scale and at the pilot scale. In parallel, Eramet Ideas is also particularly involved in the audacious growth of the Eramet group in the metals involved in the energy transition such as lithium.
